- 1 stick oleo
- 1/3 c. granulated sugar
- 1/3 c. brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/3 c. chopped nuts
- 1 1/3 c. sifted flour
- 3/4 tsp. soda
- 3/4 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Melt oleo; add sugars.

2Mix well.

3Add egg; beat until light colored. Sift flour and soda.

4Stir into sugar mixture.

5Add vanilla and nuts.

6Shape into roll about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Roll in foil or plastic wrap.

7Chill or freeze.

8Slice thin and bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350° for about 10 minutes. Makes about 4 dozen.
