- 4 cups cabbage, finely shredded, packed
- 12 cup long grain rice, raw
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 18 teaspoon pepper
- 1 34 cups water
- 14 cup margarine
- 1 12 tablespoons onions, finely chopped
Directions

1Put cabbage into 1 1/2 quart casserole and pour rice over top.

2Poke with fork several places to allow a bit of rice into the cabbage.

3Sprinkle salt and pepper over rice; pour water over all.

4Cover and bake in 350F oven for 1 hour; remove from oven.
