- 2 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 4 1/2 c. flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 10 Tbsp. butter, melted and cooled
- 1 egg
- 1 c. warm milk
Directions

1In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in water.

2Let stand until bubbly (about 15 minutes).

3Stir together 2 cups of flour, the sugar and salt until well mixed.

4Add 6 tablespoons of the melted butter, the egg, yeast mixture and milk.

5Beat about 5 minutes to blend well.

6Gradually beat in remaining 2 1/2 cups flour.

7Cover and let rise in a warm place until double, about 45 minutes.

8Pour 1/2 of remaining butter in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

9Beat down butter and drop by spoonfuls into buttered pan, making 15 rolls.

10Drizzle remaining butter over top.

11Cover and let rise until double (30 minutes).

12Bake in a preheated oven (425°) for 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
