- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. corn syrup
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 c. peanuts
- 1 tsp. soda
Directions

1In a 3-quart saucepan, heat sugar, syrup and water until sugar dissolves.

2While syrup boils, stir in butter and stir often. Heat to 230°.

3Add nuts.

4Heat to 280°, then stir constantly to 305°.

5Remove from heat.

6Quickly stir in soda; mix well.

7Pour onto 2 cookie sheets, then stretch by lifting and pulling from edges.

8With a fork, loosen from pan as soon as possible and break into pieces.
