  • 1 head cabbage
  • 1/4 stick butter
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1/2 bell pepper
  • 1 jalapeno pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. picante sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 c. water
  • salt and pepper as desired
  • cayenne pepper (optional)

Directions

    Chop pepper, onion and garlic; saute in oil and butter for a few minutes.

    Add rest of ingredients; stir.

    Cut cabbage into fourths; cut core out.

    Cover skillet and cook on low, stirring often, for about 30 to 45 minutes.

    May have to add a little more water.
