- 1 loose head cabbage
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 can cream of celery or cream of chicken soup
- 2 Tbsp. oleo
Directions

1Slice cabbage fine and soak 30 minutes in ice water; drain. Cover with boiling water.

2Add 1 teaspoon baking soda and boil 3 minutes without cover; drain.

3Add the salt and cook until tender; drain.

4Put in a buttered casserole and add soup.

5Sprinkle with pepper and cut pieces of oleo all over top.

6Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
