Cabbage Au Gratin

- 2 cups cooked cabbage, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup grated cheese (cheddar)
- 2 cups butter bread crumbs
Directions

1Cook cabbage 7 minutes in boiling salt water--drain thoroughly.

2Make cream sauce from butter, flour and milk.

3Cook until smooth and thick.

4Remove from heat and stir in 1/2 cup grated cheese.

5Add sauce with cheese to the cabbage.

6Mix well. Pour into greased casserole, sprinkle top with bread crumbs.

7Bake 20 to 25 minutes in 350 degree oven.

8Serve hot.
