- 4 c. shredded cabbage
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 c. bread crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. butter (for topping)
Directions

1Boil cabbage for 5 minutes in water.

2Drain well.

3Combine butter, salt and flour in saucepan.

4Cook over low heat; stir constantly until bubbly.

5Gradually add milk; cook, stirring constantly until smooth and thickened.

6Add cheese to white sauce and pour over cabbage.

7Sprinkle bread crumbs and butter over cabbage.

8Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
