Cabbage Bean Soup

Ingredients
- 8 to 16 oz. Polish sausage, sliced
- 1 medium onion, chopped coarse
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 small cabbage, shredded coarse
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
- 2 c. water or broth
- 2 cans navy beans
Directions

1Brown sausage.

2Add onions and saute until tender.

3Stir in salt, thyme, pepper, cabbage, tomatoes and broth or water.

4Bring to a boil.

5Stir in beans.

6Reduce heat.

7Cover and simmer 20 minutes or until cabbage is done.

8Great with cornbread!
