- small head cabbage
- 1/2 c. sharp cheese
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. milk
- butter (as mush as you like)
- bread crumbs
Directions

1Shred cabbage.

2Drop in boiling water.

3Cook 20 minutes and drain.

4In buttered casserole, place 1 cup cabbage.

5Sprinkle with grated cheese and flour.

6Make mixture of salt, sugar and pepper. Sprinkle half of this mixture over cabbage.

7Dot with butter.

8Add remaining cabbage and seasonings.

9Pour milk over all.

10Cover with bread crumbs.

11Add more butter.
-
12Bake at 375° until bread crumbs are browned.
