  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 3/4 stick butter
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 1 c. grated sharp cheese
  • 1 c. bread crumbs
  • 1/2 Tbsp. celery seed
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Boil cabbage until tender and drain.

    Meanwhile, saute onion in butter and mix with cabbage.

    Add cheese, bread crumbs, celery seed, milk, salt and pepper.

    Bake in 1 1/2-quart dish at 350° for about 15 minutes, until cheese is melted.
