  • 1 medium cabbage, chopped
  • 8 slices bacon, fried crisp
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 medium pepper, chopped
  • 1 can celery soup, undiluted
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 3 Tbsp. bacon drippings
  • 1 1/2 c. grated sharp cheese
  • 3 slices bread, crumbled
  • 1 stick margarine, melted

Directions

    Steam cabbage; drain.

    Mix all ingredients together, leaving bread and margarine for top.

    Top with bread crumbs and pour melted margarine over bread.

    Cook at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes or until bread has browned.
