Cabbage Casserole

- 1 medium head cabbage
- 1 lb. ground meat
- 1/4 c. green onions
- 1 medium onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 c. boiled rice
- 1/4 c. bread crumbs
- 1/2 stick margarine
- seasoning to taste
Directions

1Cut cabbage as you would to smother and boil in salted water until tender, but still green.

2Drain and reserve the liquid. Melt margarine in a deep skillet; fry ground meat with onion, garlic and seasoning until brown.

3Mix cabbage with the meat, adding mushroom soup, green onion tops and boiled rice.

4Pour into a greased flat Pyrex baking dish.

5Top with bread crumbs.

6Bake for 20 to 30 minutes at 300°.

7Before baking it too dry, add water from cabbage or more soup.
