- medium head cabbage
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3/4 c. butter
- 1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese
- salt
- 1/8 to 1/4 tsp. red pepper
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 c. bread crumbs
Directions

1Chop cabbage and boil in salted water until tender but still crisp.

2Wilt onion in melted butter.

3Add pieced cheese to melted butter, stirring.

4Mix in soup and seasonings and continue to heat.

5Place cabbage in casserole and pour sauce over cabbage and mix.

6Sprinkle crumbs on top.

7Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes.
