Cabbage Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 head cabbage (6 c. shredded)
  • 2 or 3 thinly sliced potatoes
  • 1/2 or 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 3/4 tsp. salt

    Saute onion in margarine until soft.

    Add meat, salt and pepper.

    Cook until meat is no longer pink.

    Place half of the cabbage in a large casserole.

    Cover with meat mixture and potatoes.

    Add remaining cabbage.

    Pour soup over top.

    Cover and bake 1 hour at 350° or until cabbage is tender.
