Cabbage Casserole

  • 1 medium head cabbage
  • 1 lb. ground meat
  • 1/4 c. green onions, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 10 1/2 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. boiled rice
  • 1/4 c. bread crumbs
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • salt and pepper

    cabbage as you would to smother and boil in salted water until

    Drain and reserve the liquid. Melt

    margarine in a deep skillet and fry ground meat with onions,

    seasonings until brown.

    Mix cabbage with the meat, adding mushroom soup, green onion tops and

    boiled rice.
