  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1/2 c. onion
  • 1/2 c. bell pepper
  • 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 head cabbage, approximately 2 lb.
  • 3 oz. Cheddar cheese

    Stir in tomatoes, salt and garlic salt, simmer uncovered 15 minutes.

    Cut cabbage into wedges, cook in water 15 minutes or until desired tenderness, (drain).

    Arrange cabbage in casserole dish.

    Pour meat mixture over cabbage, bake uncovered

    20 to 25 minutes in a 350° oven. Sprinkle cheese on top, cook
