- 1 recipe pastry
- 1/4 c. butter, oleo or chicken fat
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. chicken broth
- 2/3 c. cream
- 2 c. cut up cooked chicken
Directions

1Heat oven to 450°.

2Divide pastry into 2 parts.

3Line a 10 x 6 x 2-inch pan with 1 part of the pastry.

4Melt butter; add flour and seasonings.

5Let bubble.

6Add liquid and cook slowly until thickened.

7Add chicken; pour into pan.

8Top with rest of pastry. Bake 35 minutes.
