  • 1 head cabbage, chopped
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 can mushroom or celery soup
  • 8 oz. pkg. mild Cheddar cheese or Velveeta cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. margarine
  • 1 c. cracker crumbs

Directions

    Cook chopped cabbage in saltwater until tender. Saute onion in butter. Add cheese. Drain cabbage. Add soup and cheese mixture. Put 1/2 in greased casserole dish. Sprinkle with half of crumbs. Repeat layers. Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes.
