- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- dash of pepper
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 can tomato soup
- 6 c. coarsely chopped cabbage
Directions

1Saute onions in butter; add ground beef and heat, but do not brown.

2Season.

3Spread 3 cups cabbage in a 2-quart casserole baking dish.

4Cover with meat and onion mixture.

5Top with meat and onion mixture.

6Top with remaining cabbage.

7Pour can of tomato soup over top.

8Bake in oven 1 hour at 350°.

9(May also use chopped green pepper if you like.)
