- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. cloves
- 4 c. shredded cabbage
Directions

1Brown meat and onion; drain off the fat.

2Add the next 4 ingredients.

3Put 2 cups of cabbage in a 2-quart casserole dish; top with half the meat sauce.

4Cover with remaining cabbage; pour meat sauce over top.

5Cover with casserole lid or foil; bake in moderate oven (350°) for about 45 minutes.

6Serves 4 or 5.
