Cabbage-Macaroni Casserole

- 4 c. shredded cabbage
- 1/2 c. grated carrots
- 2 c. cooked macaroni
- 2 c. milk
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 lb. cream cheese
- 1/2 c. cracker crumbs (cheese or butter flavored)
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. chopped onion (optional)
Directions

1Boil cabbage with carrots 7 to 10 minutes. Drain. Make sauce of flour, butter, salt and milk. Slice cream cheese and add to hot sauce.

2Lightly mix vegetables, macaroni and sauce together. Spoon into baking dish. Cover with crumbs.

3Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes.
