- 1 -2 head cabbage, cut into strips
- 1 lb bacon (crumbled)
- 1 large onion, diced
- 12 cup salted butter
- 1 (12 ounce) package kluski noodles or egg noodles
- salt & pepper
Directions

1cut cabbage into wide strips.

2melt 1 stick of butter in a large pot.

3add onion and cook, about 5 minutes.

4add cabbage and cook until reduced and tender.

5while cabbage is cooking fry bacon until crisp.

6add bacon to cabbage and onions, transfer with a slotted spoon (no need to drain) the grease will add extra flavor.

7combine with cooked egg noodles.
