Cabbage Pudding

  • 1 small head cabbage
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 c. cheese, cut up fine
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 c. half and half milk
  • 1 1/2 c. cracker crumbs (Town House or Ritz)
  • margarine
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Cut cabbage into small pieces and cook in salted water until tender.

    Drain and put in casserole dish.

    Season with salt and pepper.

    Add sugar, cheese, soup and milk.
  5. 5
    Mix in 1 cup of cracker crumbs.

    Sprinkle 1/2 cup of cracker crumbs on top and dot with margarine.

    Bake at 350° until brown and thickened.
