  • 1 head cabbage (about 2 lb.)
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 14 oz. minced beef
  • 7 oz. minced pork
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 boiled potatoes
  • 2 1/4 c. milk
  • 4 Tbsp. finely ground bread crumbs
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • salt and black pepper after taste

Directions

    Heat oven to 390°F/200°C.

    Mince the cabbage head (except the coarse parts).

    Parboil in salted water; pour off water.

    Mince the onion and mash the potatoes.

    Mix all ingredients for the filling, except bread crumbs and butter.
