  • 1 c. Minute rice
  • 1/2 head cabbage
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • can tomato paste
  • can tomatoes

Directions

    Brown meat and drain. Add tomato paste and 1 can of water. Simmer 15 minutes. Butter 3-quart casserole dish. Cut up cabbage in bottom layer. Add ground beef mixture for second layer. Add rice as third layer. Add tomatoes. Bake for 1 hour at 350°. Remove cover; turn off oven and let set awhile. Top with cheese.
