- 1 large head cabbage
- 1 1/2 lb. hamburger meat
- 3/4 c. rice, cooked
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 chopped onion (1/4 c.)
- 1/2 c. sauerkraut
- 1/4 tsp. salt and pepper
- 46 oz. can tomato juice
Directions

1Put cabbage head in boiling water.

2Cook for 15 minutes.

3Mix remaining ingredients, except tomato juice and stuff leaves with mixture and roll up.

4Put in kettle with tomato juice.

5Simmer for 4 or 5 hours.

6Close cabbage leaves with toothpicks.
