- 1 large can tomato juice
- 1 medium cabbage
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 c. rice
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 1 medium onion
- 1 egg
Directions

1Place cabbage in boiling pan of water on stove.

2Boil until tender.

3Dice onion; put onion into a skillet with butter.

4Mix onion in a large bowl with hamburger, rice, egg and a dash of salt and pepper.

5When cabbage leaves are done, take a ball of hamburger mixture and wrap with a cabbage leaf.

6Place a toothpick through it to hold together.

7Place cabbage rolls in a large kettle.

8Pour tomato juice over rolls.

9Cook on top of stove for 45 minutes.
