  • 8 large cabbage leaves
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1 c. cooked rice
  • 1 egg
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 3/4 c. water

Directions

    Pour boiling water over leaves.

    Let stand 5 minutes; drain. Mix beef, salt, pepper, onion, rice and egg together.

    Add some filling to each cabbage leaf.

    Fold over and fasten with toothpicks.

    Put rolls in pot.

    Pour tomato soup and water over rolls.

    Cover and cook until done.

    Cook in pressure canner 8 minutes after control jiggles for quick rolls.

    Filling can be used for stuffed peppers.
