Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 large head cabbage
- 1 c. regular rice, uncooked
- 1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
- 1/2 c. celery, diced
- 1/4 c. bell pepper, diced
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. onion, diced
- 2 Tbsp. ketchup
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Core stem out of cabbage.

2Place in a large pot of boiling water to wilt leaves.

3Mix all ingredients except cabbage in a large mixing bowl.

4Puree tomatoes; add 1/2 to meat mixture. Reserve other half to pour over rolls in casserole.

5Peel leaves off cabbage.

6Roll beef mixture in leaves and place in casserole. Pour remaining pureed tomatoes over rolled leaves.

7Cut remaining cabbage and steam in water; drain.

8Pour over cabbage rolls, cover casserole and cook on slow to medium heat for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until well done.

9Add liquid as needed.
