- 1 head cabbage
- 2 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. instant rice, cooked
- 2 eggs
- 1 pkg. onion soup mix
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. chopped pepper
- 1/2 c. (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Combine all ingredients except cabbage (set aside).

2Fill a large kettle with water and place cored cabbage in it.

3Boil until leaves start to come apart from heat.

4Remove leaves and drain. Fill each leaf with meat mixture.

5Roll and serve with toothpick. Bake 3 hours at 350°.

6As they bake, pour tomato sauce over. While baking, top with bacon.
