- 1 head cabbage
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 to 3/4 lb. sausage
- 1/2 medium onion
- 2 eggs
- 2 (14 to 16 oz.) cans tomatoes
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 large can or jar and 1 small can sauerkraut
Directions

1Boil cabbage head until leaves are soft.

2Mix together meat, onion and eggs.

3Spoon mixture into leaves and roll up using toothpicks when necessary.

4Line bottom of pan with cabbage leaves and sauerkraut.

5Make one layer of cabbage rolls.

6Pour over rolls the tomatoes, tomato sauce and sauerkraut, then another layer of cabbage rolls, tomatoes, tomato sauce and remaining sauerkraut. Bake at 350°, covered, for 1 1/2 hours, then uncovered for 1 1/2 hours.

7Makes approximately 30 rolls.
