- 2 lbs. ground beef
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 1 bell pepper (chopped)
- 2 small cans tomato sauce
- 1 can cheddar cheese soup
- 1/2 cup minute rice (uncooked)
- chili powder to taste
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- 1 large cabbage head
Directions

1Wilt cabbage head in boiling water, drain, and cool. Peel leaves carefully.

2Brown meat along with onion and bell pepper. Drain well. Season with salt, pepper and chili powder.

3Add tomato sauce, cheese soup and uncooked rice.

4Simmer 10-15 minutes.

5Fill cabbage leaves with portion of sauce.

6Roll up and fasten with toothpick.

7Place in casserole dish.
-
8Pour remaining sauce on top. These can be frozen for later use.

9Seal with foil.
-
10Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

11Yield: 1 dozen.
