Cabbage Rolls (Chicken)

  • 1 large head green cabbage
  • 1 c. barley
  • 1 1/2 lb. chicken thighs
  • 1 stick butter or oleo
  • 1 c. light sour cream
  • 1 envelope onion soup
  • 1 to 2 leeks, diced fine
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Core and blanch cabbage to loosen leaves, yields about 8 large plus 8 medium size leaves.

    Cook barley per package directions. Saute leeks in 1/2 of the margarine.

    Skin and bone chicken; slice into strips.
