- 1 head cabbage, blanched
- 3 lb. ground pork
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 1/2 c. rice
- salt and pepper
- grated cheese
- 2 cans sauerkraut or bags
Directions

1Blanch cabbage in hot water to separate leaves; drain.

2Mix together pork, beef, rice and grated cheese and season to taste with salt and pepper.

3Make into balls and roll into cabbage leaves.

4Spread 1/2 of sauerkraut in bottom of 8-quart pan. Arrange cabbage rolls on top.

5Put remaining sauerkraut on top. Cover with water.

6Bring to a boil and then simmer for about 4 hours.
