- 1 1/2 lb. ground sausage
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 medium head cabbage, sliced thinly
- 2 c. cooked rice
- 1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
- salt and pepper to taste (optional)
Directions

1Brown sausage; remove from skillet.

2Pour off all but 2 tablespoons fat.

3Fry onion and green pepper in fat until tender. Add cabbage and cook until limp.

4Return sausage to skillet and add rice.

5Heat, covered, for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serves 8.
