- 1 marrow bone
- 1 1/2 lb. soup meat
- 2 to 3 celery stalks
- 1 large onion
- 3 carrots or to taste
- 1 head green cabbage
- 1 large can whole tomatoes
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- small amount of brown sugar to taste
Directions

1Put marrow bone and soup meat in pot with cold water to cover. Add celery stalks, onion and carrots.

2Let cook 1 hour or so, then add to broth the cabbage, tomatoes, lemon juice, brown sugar and salt and pepper.

3Cook 2 hours or so.

4Then enjoy.
