Ingredients

  • 1/2 clove garlic
  • 3/4 c. salad oil
  • 2 c. white bread cubes
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tsp. lemon juice
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 heads lettuce
  • 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese

    Crush garlic in small bowl; mix with oil and refrigerate for 1/2 hour.

    Bake bread cubes until brown and set aside.

    Cook eggs one minute in boiling water, then cool.

    Mix lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper in large bowl.

    Tear lettuce into bite size pieces.

    Drain remaining oil from garlic; pour over lettuce.

    Break eggs over salad and toss well.

    Pour on lemon mixture, bread cubes and cheese.

    Toss well and serve at once.
