  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Swanson frozen chicken livers, thawed and chopped
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1 large clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 pouch Campbell's onion soup and recipe mix
  • 2 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
  • 1 c. regular rice (uncooked)

Directions

    In 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat, cook livers, green pepper, celery and garlic in butter until vegetables are tender, stirring often.

    Stir soup mix, water and hot pepper sauce into skillet.

    Heat to boiling; stir in rice.

    Reduce heat to low. Cover; simmer 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
