  • 2 lb. bulk pork sausage
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 large bell pepper, chopped
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • 2 c. uncooked rice
  • 6 c. water
  • 2 envelopes instant soup mix (I use beefy mushroom and onion)

Directions

    Brown sausage, stirring to crumble; drain.

    Stir in remaining ingredients.

    Place in large casserole or 2 medium size.

    Cover and bake for 1 hour at 350°.

    Uncover for 15 to 20 extra minutes. Freezes well.
