- beef roast (tender cut)
- garlic toes
- green onion
- salt
- cayenne pepper
- black pepper
- white pepper
- paprika
- Italian seasoning
- butter or margarine, softened
- Dijon mustard
Directions

1Make small slits in roast (over all sides of roast).

2Stuff into each small pocket a sliver of garlic and a piece of green onion.

3Rub butter over roast, then rub Dijon mustard over roast (all sides).

4Sprinkle spices over roast, then pat down.

5Bake in 500° oven uncovered for 15 minutes.

6Then bake in 325° oven, covered, for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, depending on size of roast and cut of meat.
