  • 1/2 c extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, whole
  • 2 T or less Cajun seasoning
  • 2 T lemon juice
  • 1 T brown sugar
  • 1 T soy sauce
  • 2 # extra-large or colossal shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • For prettier presentation, leave tails on shrimp

Directions

    Combine first 7 ingredients in a 9x13 baking dish.

    Toss shrimp in marinade to coat well.

    Refrigerate 1 to 12 hours.

    Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

    Remove garlic clove.

    Bake for 7 to 10 minutes, stirring once.

    DO NOT OVERCOOK!

    Can also be skewed and grilled!
