Cake Frosting - White

Ingredients

  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/2 c. Karo white
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Place egg whites, Karo syrup, sugar and salt in top half of double boiler.

    Beat to mix, then place over boiling water. Continue beating 5 to 7 minutes until stiff peaks.

    Remove from fire; add vanilla.

    Beat 1 minute more.

    Good on chocolate or white cake with 1 package frozen coconut (thawed).
