- 1 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/3 c. plain flour
- 3 slightly beaten egg yolks
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. Carnation milk
- 1/2 c. calamondin-orange puree
Directions

1Mix sugar and flour in heavy saucepan.

2Stir in milk and cook over medium heat (stirring constantly) until thick.

3Add small amount (approximately 1/2 cup) of this mixture to egg yolks.

4Pour this back into saucepan, stirring thoroughly.

5Cook over medium heat to boiling point.

6Remove from heat and stir in orange puree and butter.

7Bring back to boiling point.

8Remove and pour into baked pie crust.

9Top with meringue and brown top at 350°.
