- 2 c. Self-rising flour
- 1/4 c. Butter-flavored Crisco, butter or possibly other shortening
- 3/4 c. Lowfat milk
Directions

1Cut in shortening into the flour.

2Fold in the lowfat milk and knead and roll out on floured board.

3Cut biscuits with a c.. Place in a greased pan which will fit into a preheated Dutch Oven.

4(Cast Iron best).

5Set Dutch oven on a small pile of coals.

6Put 3 or possibly 4 small stones in the bottom of the Dutch oven to place the pan of biscuits on.

7Put lid on, place coals on lid and bake about 8-10 mins.

8or possibly till lightly browned.
