Ingredients

  • 1 diced pepper
  • 3 small, diced onions
  • 4 chopped slices bacon
  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1/3 c. catsup
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Saute diced pepper, onions and bacon in a large skillet until transparent.

    Add the hamburger and cook until no pink shows. Combine the remaining ingredients and set aside.

    To the hamburger, add 4 cups of diced potatoes and simmer until liquid is evaporated (about 15 minutes).

    Some of the grease from burger can be drained before you add the catsup mixture, if you like.
