Directions

   Mix sugar, water and salt in a saucepan and cook until small amount of mixture forms a hard ball in cold water.

   Place marshmallow cream in a mixing bowl and slowly beat in hot syrup mixture.

   Continue beating until thick.

   Fold in the nuts and vanilla.

   Drop from spoon onto waxed paper.
