Ingredients

  • 2 lb. cut meat
  • 2 big onions
  • 1 bunch scallions
  • 1 tsp. red pepper
  • 1 tsp. Everglade seasoning
  • potatoes to suit yourself, cut in pieces
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 rutabaga
  • flour or cornstarch to thicken

    Fry meat.

    When almost done, put in the onions and scallions until the meat is done.

    Add the red pepper, potatoes, Everglade seasoning, salt, pepper and rutabaga.

    Bring to a boil, then add the butter.

    Cook until done and spice to suit yourself.
