- 3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 9 medium apples (your choice)
Directions

1Cook all ingredients except apples until the temperature reaches 290°.

2Do not stir.

3Add several drops of red food coloring.

4Place pan in hot water to keep from hardening.

5Begin dipping apples at once.

6Cool on greased surface.
