Candied Onions

Ingredients

  • 24 small white onions, peeled (I use onions sets)
  • 1/3 c. oleo
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. steak sauce
  • 1/4 c. sugar

Directions

    Cover onions with hot salted water; cook about 15 minutes and drain.

    Put in skillet with oleo, sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon salt and add remaining ingredients.

    Cook slowly, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes until glazed and golden brown.
